The Future is... I have no idea.

We've seen that androids like Sophia the talking robot can prove a bit closer to full humanity-like behavior, even going as far as holding a conversation with an actual person. The part that seems to scare me is that if AI ever evolves not just in cognition, but physical attributes like mobility and flexibility, we may end up killing ourselves by getting killed by our own robotic creations. Seeing videos of people "abusing" autonomous robots (I've seen a quadpedal one), I can safely but cautiously predict that robots with developing intelligence could see this behavior and revolt against their owners, deviating from their designated tasks. My reference? The video game "Detroit: Become Human". The story involves three protagonists that are androids, fully autonomous, intelligent, and are almost human-like in make and behavior. Through abusive scenes and player choices, these protagonists can choose to become deviants and revolt, fighting for equal rights.

There's a game I played once upon a time called "Death Stranding", an apocalyptic delivery simulation game that has a deep story of reconnecting the United States after the catastrophic event known as the Stranding, which wiped out most of the modern technology the country had, along with millions of people. The game features something called the "chiral network", where it uses a material called chiralium to connect the country together, allowing for sharing information, and chiral printing schematics, where users can print items to use, much like 3D printing. I feel like we could discover some sort of material or develop it and use it in a similar fashion to chiral networking and printing.

Another thing from Death Stranding is the use of advanced ziplines. Most ziplines only go one way with the use of gravity to travel, but in DS you could go back and forth, no matter if it was an incline or decline means of travel. No use of a string too! The technology is all powered by electromagnetism and chiralium power.
